Cold Blooded Reptile Centre: Rainham

I don’t have many photos of Cold Blooded Reptile Centre as whenever I have been there is so much to look at that I forget that I am meant to be taking photos.

This is a fairly small shop but it is jam packed. Parking isn’t the easiest but there is a large Tesco nearby which is a short walk away. When you walk in you find yourself in a small area with fish tanks, followed by a room with lots of reptiles. This is the most spacious part of the shop.

You then go into the main shop which is rammed as full as possible with reptiles and supplies. There is a good range of live food and supplies with lots of plants for your terrarium, tortoise table or vivarium.

There is a huge range of reptiles,

with so many types of lizards, frogs and snakes. There are loads. And then there are small containers with spiders, isopods and millipedes to name but a few.

The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and there is a steady stream of customers, many of whom are clearly regulars who are greeted like friends.

The owner is who you want if you want to talk about snakes, he knows so much and is more than willing to share his knowledge.

If there is something that you want that you can’t see then ask. They will likely have it and will find it for you. Their prices are really reasonable too.

The only criticism that I have is that they only take cash.

This place will be my go to reptile shop, even though it is not local to me but it is well worth the drive.
